Returns for Private Sellers
Top Indian Designers have to legally offer a Money Back Guarantee, if the item is “Not as described”
What determines if an item is ‘not as described’?
A ‘not as described’ item should be materially different from what the seller described in the item listing. This includes:
- Different item or version
- Wrong condition e.g. the listing stated the item was ‘new’ when it’s clearly been used
- Counterfeit item
- Missing major parts & this wasn’t mentioned in the listing
- Items that arrive much later than a reasonable time promised and can’t be used.
If the item isn't as described, the buyer can contact the seller & give them a chance to sort things out. This has to be notified within 24 hours of receipt of the parcel by the buyer.
